6 Makeovers with Major Fall Vibes

Fall is the perfect excuse to really switch up your style! We thought some of you might enjoy a little inspiration to take the plunge with a major hair makeover. Here are some of our favourite transformations we've seen at Chatters this fall!

Cia, Chatters St. Albert

We fell in love with fall colors, so we made sure to prelighten with a full head balayage. Then we started having fun with the rich colors of fall using City Beats by Redken.

The Result

We used full Frame 07 by Redken to blowdry and set curls in 1 1/2" rounds. Then went in with Redken Powder Grip 03 to create volume throughout the style, and hand brushed the curls out with fingers coated in Redken Wax Blast 10.

Tiara, Chatters Cochrane

Here is a before look at a pretty makeover from this last month I had the honour of doing. I used Redken Shades EQ to fill and the Chromatics Double V line to achieve the final look.

The Result

For styling I used biosilk and firewall to add extra shine and protection to her finished look with a strong hold hairspray to lock in the curls.

Mackenzie, Chatters Deerfoot Meadows

We did a full head of teasy lights in my client with flash lift and 20vol in the back and 30 in the front. We smudged her root with 5nn and 5na from chromatically and toned the remaining hair with 08n+07p and shades gel cream. We washed her in sink with redken extreme shampoo, then applied a toner of 08n . 08v and 09nb with shades we gloss. We let this sit for 10 min fallowed by a all soft chemistry treatment

The Result

We prepped her hair for blow dry with designs me’s leave in conditioner to get out any extra tangles. Then with S Factor Silky Smooth and Paul Mitchell Skinny Serum we blew her out with a 3 inch round brush and added lose waves with a Hot Tools 2“ Extended Length Curling Iron. We finished with AG drylift and Redken Fashion Work and Wax Blast!

Osaka, Chatters Market Mall

She colored her hair for the first time and she wanted her hair to be dramatically changed yet something easy to look after. I cut her hair shoulder length, added some layers and also did texturizing.

The Result

For colour I did a balayage using free hand technique, that way the client won't have to touch up as often. I used 08N+o8T(1:1) for toning. Then for styling I used Redken Frizz Dismiss Instant Serum.

Tiara, Chatters Cochrane

To achieve this I did a combination of hair painting and soft baby highlights. Then I toned with shades EQ.

The Result

For styling I used One United for heat protection and volume and locked in the finished look with a brushable hairspray for a soft finished look.

Cia, Chatters St. Albert

For this style, we used loads of inspiration from our favourite hair artists online, she even took to facebook to give us ideas from friends. We did come up with this multi-funky-mix of fall inspired colors. Her mom wanted the burgundy color, so we used that at the roots, then we just ran with it from there. It was so fun using Redkens City Beats to punch up the colors.

The Result

For styling we used Unites Boosta Spray for blowdrying, Sebastian Trilliant Thermal Spray to curl with a flat iron, then Joico's Beach Shake to bring on the texture and break up the curls.
