Here is an awesome step-by-step tutorial on how to do a pull-through braid ponytail!
Create two ponytails at the top of the head. Add some Redken Braid Aid to the tips of your fingers to add grip and help the braid last longer.
Split your top ponytail. Lift your bottom pony up and out of the way (it’s helpful to have your model do this!).
Similar to the way you would with a French braid, add a horizontal section of hair from the left side of your head to the left half of the split pony, and do the same on the right. Secure this ponytail with your added hair with an elastic.
Continue this process until the nape of the hair, then continue the same process just without adding any new hair. Starting at the top, start to pull apart the braid to loosen it and give a lived-in feel and hide the elastics.
