Luba’s Picks: Styling Tools

1: Paul Mitchell Modern Marble Express Unclipped 3-in-1
I think this would be such a fun gift to give because it’s like 3 gifts in one! Being able to change the size and shape of the wand allows you to do much more with your hair and so many styles can be accomplished. Plus, who wouldn’t fall in love with the modern trendy marble design?
2: Kenneth Bernard Vibe Flat Iron
I always look forward to giving someone this gift every year! It’s one of my favourites because it does such an amazing job smoothing the hair with the vibrating feature. It has so many other useful features as well such as dual voltage, heats up fast to 390 degrees, AND advance Tru-Last colour technology to protect your colour from fading! Not only this, it also comes in a cute box with a ribbon and a free Kenneth Bernard heat protectant spray!
Favourite Holiday Cookie: Definitely my Aunties Eatmore bars!
Most Memorable Gift: Probably from when I was 5 years old, my parents bought me the Barbie mobile home!

Osaka’s Picks: Gifts for Him

With the Christmas season approaching, I have some great gift ideas for men’s gifts. These are three of my favourites that I use in the salon.
1: American Crew 3-in- 1 Tea tree shampoo
This is a great moisturizing shampoo, conditioner and body wash all in one. The Tea tree in this product has a light refreshing fragrance and so easy to use for men on the go. I like using this product myself after I go to the gym for something quick and easy to use.
2: Redken Go Clean Invigorating Daily Shampoo for Men
This shampoo is great for those men just needing a little more moisture to their hair. With the winter season, this product is also good for moisturizing the scalp.
3: D:fi D:struct Molding Cream
For styling the hair, d:fi D:STRUCT is a great medium hold product for my clients that don’t want a lot of shine but want a flexible hold. This product also has a pleasant fragrance but not too overwhelming. I really love this product.
Favourite Holiday Cookie: For the Christmas season I love sugar cookies.
Favourite Christmas Tradition: A tradition that I enjoy is setting up my Christmas tree and having friends over. I would like to wish everyone a very “Merry Christmas” and all the best this holiday season!

Cia’s Picks: Gifts under $25

A few of my favorite holiday things this season seem to be all gift packs! Why buy just one when you can have 2 or more?
1: Body Drench Fanciful mini treats.
I buy these treats every year. They are so affordable and great to break up into multiple stocking stuffers! There are 4 flavours so there’s one for everyone!
2: Wella Brilliance Shampoo and Conditioner Duos:
Do you color or highlight your hair? Do you love amazing smelling products? Whatever your hair type there’s a duo does the job. My hair feels and smells so incredible after using these and these packs make it such an easy gift idea.
3: Bed Head #Slaythem Duo packs:
This pack comes with the Bed Head signature men’s Shampoo and my favorite right now, Matte Separation Workable Wax. Great hold but not crunchy, vey low shine, and great smelling to boot!
Favourite Christmas Cookie: Has to be my in-law’s shortbread cookies and my mommas butter tarts are so good as well! Only a few more sleeps and I get to eat them!
Favourite Christmas Carol: Carol of the bells all the way! Hot coco by the fire and that song playing is bliss!

Angie’s Picks: Gifts under $35

1: Joico K-Pak Holiday Trio
3 of Joico’s luxurious products that are perfect for this time of year! Great for hydrating dry damaged hair from winter weather and/or fighting frizz for that tropical holiday destination.
2: Osis The Essentials Holiday Duo
I absolutely love the amazing texture that Osis Dust It brings to both short and long hair. Pairing this with Osis Session Extreme Hold Hairspray.  It is fast drying, non sticky and easy to brush out. It will totally set them up in-style.
Most Memorable Gift: My Children are a Gift from God.  My youngest was born a few days after Christmas, so he was my Christmas baby 5 years ago. We were both healthy and Desten was the perfect pregnancy and delivery.  I’m truly grateful for our health today.
Favourite Christmas Tradition: My favourite thing is visiting my family out at the lake.  Mix of children riding snowmobiles, a dog sleigh, having bonfires and building snow forts. I love challenging all the kids to board games.  If we are lucky the lake will be frozen this year and we’ll go ice fishing as well.
